Fortunately it's inside the car, so it shouldn't be too badly faded or damaged. The "RDS-3458" seems to refer to some sort of toner cartridge produced by Raytheon.ĮDIT: The logo in the lower left corner is clearly the Raytheon logo:Īgain, I'm not too sure about this label. Searching a bit on the internet, the wording "Raytheon Data Systems" came up, which shouldn't be too much of a surprise, considering the prop-builders' use of Raytheon parts on some of the props. The bottom portion of this label is too small to discern from this photo. This is very likely a "FLAMMABLE" or "COMBUSTIBLE" label, as I've seen similar labels with a red and black color scheme, often in a diamond shape. The overall look of this particular label reminds me of a bank check (even though it's obviously not). This photo was taken when the car was still at Universal, so the text is (hopefully) still legible to this day and not too faded. However, the lines and spacing can be seen, so it would be easy to make up some information to go on it. This was the clearest photo I could find of this label, but the text is still illegible. Any further discussion would be greatly appreciated, particularly if there are some details that aren't easy to see, or if I've given misinformation of any kind in this thread. I'm going to start by redrawing the "WARNING - THREAD SAFETY CHAIN." label. Don't forget the screen-accurate "Hardee's" logo on the passenger-side door. The white label on the far left end of the red tank is illegible to this day. The tank labels look like they might be red. The side tanks, which are now faded white, look like they might have been yellow (similar to the Ecto-1). I take no credit for any of these photos. I found a few images via Google showing the car when it appeared at different Hardee's around the country for the promotion of GB2. This label appears on both the left and right sides of the rear tank. The Radome might also have the same label. The topmost label on both the left and right sides appears to be the same as the one on the front of the green box and the control panel behind the driver/passenger seats. The rear section of the tank has a cut-down version of the computer monitor label (see below), as well as a small faded label above it. It also looks like there's n "He" or Ho" on this piece. The other side of this device has green label looks like it might read "GFP 3 211142". Note the "FREON DO NOT FILL." label on the tank/device directly in front of the white box. There's another triangular electric shock hazard label on the front passenger side of the box. There is a "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE 10,000 V.D.C." label on the driver side. This label appears on the red tube on the passenger side. Also note the labels on the yellow side tanks - these are also long gone. These labels have been missing for many years. The Sonobuoy had two triangular electric shock labels during the original filming in 1988. If only there were a higher-resolution version of this image available. This is the best photo that I've found of this label, so recreating it might be tough. The badly faded black and white label on the front of the green box appears to be similar to the label on the console behind the driver/passenger seats inside the cabin. There is also one of these labels on the Sonobuoy. I've been going through the handful of images that are publicly available:īoth the left and right sides of the green box have a "WARNING - THREAD SAFETY CHAIN." label (as seen on the Sniffer tubes on the Ecto-1). The first thing is to determine is what labels have been on the car. My goal is to create a set of labels for the community that can be used for replica Ectomobiles, model kits, or even a possible community-driven restoration of the screen-used car.įor more information on the Ecto-1A in its current condition, please take a look at this page: As many of you know, several of the exterior labels on the Ecto-1A are either badly faded or missing entirely. 9/20/2023 0 Comments Audio converter pro input levelHave some various interconnect cables as well dual XLR to 3.5mm stereo dual RCA to 3.5mm stereo, etc.Īlso looked at the Radial something or other that was like $260. I just (today) ordered that ART aforementioned Sweetwater had a demo model. All the bass is back! There is the kick drum and bass guitar. All the bass is gone! Then, I panned the car stereo hard left. When I finally confirmed that I got in my car, put on the mix. Due to using a single 1/4" TRS to 1/8" 3.5"mm stereo mini jack cable without any signal conversion between mixer and ATEM. Bass DI and bass cab mic kick mic, snare mic, and three drum overheads (left, center, right). Now we run it loud down there, and mic EVERYTHING. (phase inversion error due to balanced mixer output to unbalanced ATEM input) Some people could hear it fine others heard nothing others (my phone) heard the mix badly distorted - and DEAD giveaway to what was going on - lacking in ALL bass. We were dialing in a mix on the board, listening on headphones, sounds good, stream to ATEM and then all sorts of audio issues. This thread is EXTREMELY useful, as we encountered issues from me not taking the time to realize my mixer output (Zoom L20) is BALANCED 1/4" TRS stereo, and the ATEM is UNBALANCED 3.5mm (1/8") stereo. We recently bought an ATEM Mini Pro for use in our basement jam studio where we got into live streaming various bands during "lockdown". I have a ART DI box on stage and will try that. We all started without knowledge and look back at those that helped us along the way. I am an advanced video editor that has been editing since the Amiga/Toaster days of doing a/b roll, and don't mind helping those that need help. If someone doesn't want to share their knowledge, that's up to them. So I asked here to get more knowledgeable and correct information and solutions. Of course a quick solution is something that everyone wants, but I ask because I don't know the answer. I have been mixing our worship team for many years now, going from analog to digital. We can stream quite easily with a cellphone, but we all know the quality of the video and audio output. The only thing we would like to stream is the church service. Thanks for the replies and making clear the balanced and unbalanced aspect that I am facing and the solutions to the problem. You can then use a regular off the shelf 2xRCA to 3.5mm cable to the mini input.Īnother solution, while not exactly proper but works fine is a cable wired as follows.Įither option will improve your XR18 feed into the ATEM immensely I'm sure. These devices take balanced XLR in, and generate unbalanced signals coming out. The best solution for this involves something like the Henry Engineering MatchBox, or the Rolls Pro Match. What you get is very thin sounding audio because things start to cancel out, or on single speaker device like a phone a total cancellation altogether. In this case the result is your audio being presented as an out-of-phase stereo source to the ATEM mini, because the + phase of the balanced audio goes into the ATEM left input and the - phase of the signal goes into the ATEM right input. Just because the connectors fit on each end doesn't mean it's going to work properly. If your cable is pre-made and has a single XLR on one end, and a stereo 3.5mm on the other, this is NOT what you need to connect these 2 devices. I'm a great audio teacher but this isn't the place. OK, we need to learn the fundamental differences between balanced and unbalanced audio. Adjusting the Aux output up and down only decreases/increases the volume, but the quality of the audio has not changed. So I called his VoIP phone and asked him to accept a remote desktop connection so I could try some further tests. He came back saying he's getting 4.8Mbps down and 7.5Mbps up. I asked him what speed he's getting and sent him the TestMy combo speed test link. I had an interesting call with my work colleague in the UK who got in Pulse8's Fibreoptic 38Mbps Broadband package, which runs over VDSL. For example, a 4G provider could throttle individual connections at 4Mbps would prevent most streaming services being able to play full HD, yet if one uses the popular Speedtest app which performs a multi-threaded test, it will report a vastly higher test result. Some mobile/cellular and fixed wireless services also seem to throttle individual connections, which effectively reduces network load as video streaming services generally stream at the maximum resolution possible over a single connection. However, as video streaming services only establish a single connection to run the stream, 500kbps is not enough for most streaming services as many require at least 1Mbps to stream at all, yet Ookla's Speedtest will falsely give the impression that the connection is well capable of streaming video when throttling occurs on individual connections. So what I reckon they've done is throttle individual connections to 500kbps, which is just fast enough to comfortably browse the web as web browsers make multi-threaded connections to download all the web page elements, pictures, etc. It mentioned that the complementary Wi-Fi is suitable for general web browsing and e-mail only and in order to stream video, download large files and so on, I would need to purchase premium Wi-Fi access for €8 per hour. I saw a flyer on the table mentioning about high speed Wi-Fi, so was curious to see what it said after my strange Wi-Fi experience. Sure enough, when I ran TestMy in multi-threaded mode, I got over 2Mbps as the test result. However, when I started running simultaneous downloads, each single one continued to run at about 60KB/s. When I started a download in my web browser, it came in at a steady 60KB/s. When I tested with TestMy, sure enough it reported my speed as about 500kbps consistently, which explains the YouTube playback problem. Going by Ookla's Speedtest, it looked reasonably good with a 2Mb download test result, yet when I tried watching YouTube, it would only play in 240p with a grainy picture even though I know 2Mbps is plenty to play videos at 480p and some even at 720p. While on a business trip in Germany, I stayed at a Leonardo hotel which had plenty of advertising about having free Wi-Fi. This potentially also explains why some users who get fast results on Speedtest have problems with video on demand services repetitively buffering or showing a grainy low resolution stream. While multi-threaded tests are great at determining the maximum bandwidth available on an ISP's connection, it does not show what one will get when streaming video or even downloading a large individual file. Then again, this ISP also uses a carrier grade NAT, so if it did have access to the logs with IP addresses, it probably couldn't map them with each logged IP address being shared amongst many customers.Īnother problem I noticed with Ookla's app is that it does not provide the ability to perform a single threaded speed test. during the brief periods my uplink worked. I'm not sure if this ISP has access to the test results since it hosts an Ookla server, but if it does, they'll obviously be skewed as the only test results it would have logged from my end were the ones the test successfully completed, i.e. That's as far as it gets, even when I check an hour later - It stalls like trying to drive a manual gear stick car below 5MPH without pressing the clutch. When the uplink is running slow, this is what happens when I run the Ookla's Speedtest: While Ookla's browser based Speedtest seems to measure the link during the brief periods the uplink is running quick, I have yet to see it record a single speed test with a result below 0.1Mbps. My fixed wireless ISP's connection has had an issue for over a month now where the uplink struggles to perform better than 0.1Mbps, then intermittently spikes to about 9Mbps as shown below: Testing very slow connections (especially uplink):īased on my experience, Ookla's browser based Speedtest can't seem to handle connections below about 0.1Mbps, at least on the uplink. 9/20/2023 0 Comments Vsdc free video editoHardware acceleration, multi-color Chroma Key, adjustable parameters settings and enhanced resolution make VSDC a real time and effort saving tool allowing for creating large size HD videos in a few minutes instead of hours. Maybe he'll have some of the flaws of this release fixed. If you do miss out on getting the HasCon Captain Rex at a good price, it's probably advisable to wait for the 2018 basic release. Still, he's a Great figure and well worth picking up. I love the figure, but it definitely is flawed. The helmet not fully covering the head, the flared out shoulder armor, and the overly tight holsters all do detract from the figure's appeal a bit. As I really began to play around with him and pose him, however, I definitely began to find some weak spots in the figure. I was blown away by Captain Rex right away as there is so much awesome about this figure. Let's take a closer look at this fan-favorite character from The Clone Wars after the break. He's a really good figure but, unfortunately, he has some bizarre weaknesses that bring him down a bit. Rex's prices have been jumping up to some fairly ridiculous levels but last week he was available on Hasbro's website and I managed to grab him. It seems that Captain Rex will be released in a Black Series assortment sometime next year in less elaborate packaging with fewer accessories but sporting a new headsculpt that takes advantage of the facial printing technology Hasbro has been using in the Marvel Legends line. Clone Captain Rex (AKA: CT7567) is the 2017 Hascon exclusive and, like most other Black Series convention exclusives, he's kind of a prerelease. Since Star Wars is such a huge part of Hasbro, they made sure to have their own Star Wars exclusive action figure at the convention. In September Hasbro held their first Hascon, a convention which celebrated some of the various properties and licenses they produce toys for. |
